Comment: I can now add that New Orleans hosts a Super Bowl winning team!!  Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints!  Wait a minute....I DID take English!!  LOL  After losing everything we owned to Hurricane Katrina, it really feels good to have some FUN and laugh and "pass a good time".  John and I are involved in a band that plays classic oldies - the ones we all love from our teen years!  We have renovated a building in our back yard  into a music studio where the band practices every Tuesday night..  I find it very interesting that never in my wildest dreams would I have thought this is what I'd be doing when I am in my 50's!!  LOL  I've enjoyed reading what everyone else has been up to since '70 and I hope that I'll be able to attend the reunion!

Comment: Our class saw many changes during the '60s as we proceeded toward graduation in 1970. So many good friends then and some that are gone now. Best wishes to all classmates and look forward to seeing those who have missed the past reunions.

Comment: I substitute in Navarre and Gulf Breeze, Florida for the Santa Rosa School District. I know right. Most teachers who have retired may not choose to do that in retirement. I can pick the specific school, the specific day and date which makes it convenient for me to help my daughters with their daughters when needed. As long as I sub 10 hours a month I will remain on the roster. Trust me. I work more than that and could work everyday if I chose to do so. I am 🙌 and Highly favored that it was in God's plan to bring my daughters and their families to this area. Love where I live. The beach is a 10 minute drive from my house to Navarre Beach, 20 minutes to Pensacola Beach, 30 minutes to Fort Walton, and 40 minutes to Destin. I am an active member of Striving for Perfection Ministries and love how my Pastor is a Bible teaching, Bible preaching Pastor. My granddaughters keep me active and on my toes. They are 4 and 9. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

Comment:

I have had a wonderful life. My husband and I have been married 37 years. We dated one week before he asked me to marry him! Bill and I have lived in a small town in Southern Illinois, the City of Chicago and now in St. Louis. Bill is a true entrepreneur and has had a number of businesses. I have worked as assistant editor of a newspaper in Chicago, a caterer and the director of human resources of a large company. We love to travel and have truly explored the world. We also love to play golf, walk and read. Bill and I have two wonderful daughters and three grandchildren. I left Dothan as soon as I graduated and only returned to see my parents. I just can't tell you all how much we both are looking forward to this reunion.
